fetch not sure if you've seen my question on page 1185 about vj comments on flowers being planted as you exit and enter your home mile circle. can you confirm whether this should happen as from my runs I don't think it does.

Yup, no problem Mr Fetch. I'd like it, but I'm not complaining. Really enjoying this free little bonus to my running. Thankyou

Mick - the flowers will be planted if you are at exactly 1 mile in your run - in reality you will have had to wiggle around a bit getting to the edge of your circle (because of roads etc) and therefore the chances are you will get to the 1 mile point in your run whilst you are still inside your 1 mile circle. But in theory if you started at the centre of your circle and ran a perfectly straight line you would get a flower at 1 mile.

Thanks for the clarification VJ due to where I live the shortest distane I can take to get outside my circle is almost 1.2 miles.

Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB)
In that case your first flower would be another 0.3 miles along your route

yep that's what happens, and is why I do a little coin hunting on the way out to try and hit the circle line just before the 1.5 mile running distance.

Waveydavey won 100000 points at random 3:26pm, Feb 26
So that's just under 2 million for the month - 0.25M through honest endeavour and 1.75M through luck. Just saying...

Crash Hamster
Latest thoughts about randoms; if I run through more than 100 randoms in a month (I think I probably do) then statistically I will probably get a +1M and -1M random in the same scoring period, which is no better or worse than my all time favourite 'Crash Hamster neither won nor lost points at random.' Don't like 'em
How about some 'turbo' markers? They could:
double (whatever?) your score for the next 1/2 mile/mile/rest of run or: perhaps increase the 80m marker hoovering radius for the next 1/2 mile/mile/rest of run, so for instance you could collect coins etc that were 120m/160m away, or:
let you plant flowers more frequently for a defined duration. That would create a class of markers that were valuable to run through, but only if you did a decent run afterwards.
