Andy, N-O, that's right. In fact I was considering asking a question about it earlier today, so I'll ask it now...

Has anyone else found that even though markers are suspended in the home circle of these "inactive players" that we can't plant flowers in these areas but nor are there any coins or other markers to pick? Hence, if you have an inactive player next to your home circle it's almost like you're being penalised as well?!?

Hey! I''ve been injured (runners speak for right achilles knackered - right?). It's only Feb 11th, am stunned I've been bug/coins deleted, but ever the trooper....so I will run tomorrow and whinge again when (and if) nothing appears within my rural circle tommorow. Sad that, this game has been the best extrinsic otivation I've ever found! Thanks for all your comments...another reason thie site's so good :-)

I thought that markers stopped being generated for people who didn't visit the site for a week. My experience is that you can't plant flowers in inactive players' circles

I must admit I can't remember whether "inactivity" is defined as training or visting the site, but I'm sure Fetch will be along soon enough to confirm. But I assume you agree that it would be fairer if you could plant flowers in inactive players' circles?

explains Sunday's race - according to map, no Fetchies in area because no coins, relays, bugs etc, just a few flowers

after race - new flowers, but only on half of course. Rest of course still empty of any markers. Must be at least 1 'inactive' Fetchie registered for game, but not logged any training for at least 7 (?) days

According to Lord Fetch on 6th january:
Two rule changes, designed to tighten up the experience for those who are playing, as opposed to those who signed up and didn't come back.

1) As of tonight, player density will be calculated based only on players around you who have logged into the site within the last seven days.

2) Players who haven't logged in within the last seven days don't get any markers sprinkled around them.
