Hello all. I'm new to this great game.

I've just moved some bugs outside my zone but they are lurking there right on the edge. Will they move into my zone again tomorrow? or is that not how it works?

No, they will stay there. If you run over them and go further outside your circle then they will move again. When first moving them if you take them at least 1 mile from your home point and out of the circle too then they get squished. You'd need to take the ones just outside your circle another mile before they die - I accumulate mine through the week and then splat them at weekends on a long run.

My penalties went out at 12.01 so no I can decide where to run

Thanks USB. I get it now. I only just ran outside my circle so they have not moved more than a mile.

Never mind. Good idea about accumulating them until the long run. I'll try that.

This is all new to me but i'm really enjoying it as it's finally coaxed me outside and off my treadmill.

I ran from one end of my circle to the other all around the roads back and forth like a loon and picked up loads of points, 3 gore-illas and squished/moved most of my bugs whilst managing to complete a comfy ten miles! This game can be so frustrating but today was a real help on a solo run. :-)

How do you know where stuff is while you're out running? Is it possible to download the info to your Garmin or do you just take careful note of where all the stuff is before you set out?

I plan my route to use the most coin rich routes between bugs and decide where I will pop out of the circle. The route then sits in my head. Usually works.
