I stored the 'created' date - maybe if you get to 8 weeks, and no-one has picked them, there could be a bonus for looking after them well. Let's see how these changes go first.

I also thought about eliminating flowers planted too close to others, just to eliminate the case where they're more-or-less planted over the top of each other.

Repeatedly running the same route is always going to result in a pile of flowers on top of one another - taking off the most valuable one (once it reaches a maximum value) will keep the piles a little smaller. As you say, though, let's see the current changes bed in first

Drat, I was looking forward to an enormohaul where there were many flowers, some worth 20 000 - now all only 5000. That's what I get for dawdling Although I do have to admit it is a lot fairer. I thought untended flower disappeared after 4 weeks, is that correct?
I do enjoy planting postboxes though, I have quite a collection. Er, that makes me sound enormously spoddy.

Damn! I've been putting off trying out a new route that looked lucrative with flowers and now all the points have been reduced.

I know how that feels, a 3 mile stretch I had been dutifully tending for 5 months too and from work has just devalued like the Stock Exchange did on Black Monday

I didn't realise that it was going to be as militant as capping back on flowers already planted. Like SS my well tended patch has been cut off at the knees.

It's a cruel cruel world And I definitely don't like kstuart's idea of the unwatered flowers losing their value over time!
