UC - the bugs have been active for a few days now (but just not being reported in your feed).

NC - I've updated the guide again. Basically, your chance of getting one appearing on your patch is Density/100.

Density=0, you'll never get one.
Density=1, you'll get 1 every 100 days.
Density=2, you'll get 1 every 50 days.
Density=3, you'll get 1 every 33 days.
Density=4, you'll get 1 every 25 days.

Our peak players have a density of about 40, so they'll get one every 2.5 days on average - but they'll also have those other 39 players with a similar chance of getting a detonator - which should make city playing a bit more fun, and country playing a bit fairer :-)

Ooh I like the sound of detonators.

So will they move to the furthest point in your run or just a random point on your route outside your circle?

Same as with bugs - they'll go to a random point in the outermost circle that you reach. So if you just creep outside the 2 mile circle, that's where it'll get dropped.
