That, Danny, is the big question - and really the only downside to this game. If I run at home I can expect between 1-2000 points per mile. If I run a couple of miles away I can expect about 10,000 points a mile. If I spend about 2 months planting flowers in Canons Park I can hope for 1.5 million points when they are picked by someone else. If I'm prepared to run about 12 miles then I might be able to pick someone else's flowers gaining several hundred thousand points. But for players with no neighbours at all and living in areas with few roads and lots of inaccessible land - even these scores are only something to dream about.

If you have any ideas on levelling the playing field I'm sure we'd be interested. But the game has already been through a whole range of modifications to try and work that one out.

I think in the end we just have to decide that this is a great game (Thanks Fetch); it motivates us to run - and in places where we'd not otherwise go; and forget about anyone else and their scores. The alternative, which I consider on a regular basis, is to throw the toys out of the pram and not play anymore ;)

Well, it's not like you win anything for having the highest score, so other people's scores don't really bother me... though it would be nice to be a bit higher up the leaderboard sometimes! But mainly I just concentrate on collecting kingkong and shifting bugs (because they annoy me).

Just been for a 13 mile run which only earned me about 10,000 points in total!

Now, if somebody would pick some of my flowers.....

Are the kingkong still showing on the map, PB? If not, maybe someone else nabbed them first? :-O

I have moved your relay a few more miles, SF :)

No idea what this means by way of points...

so your relay has to move 40 miles to re-coup what you spent on it - you decide

I'm actually more curious to see where it ends up rather than for the points, I just think it's kinda cool. lol. It started at my front door.
