I wonder if that was one of the flower glitches then. Mind you I've got a few routes near me that would be quite lucrative if people ran along them now. Some of the flowers are worth about 6000 points each, and although some only look like they are worth 1000, they are about 11 or 12 deep, and you are only seeing the top one because they always get put in exactly the same spot. From the point of the planter/waterer, I've put a lot of effort in to putting them there and maintaining them, and haven't yet had that much reward for doing so - hopefully someone will come on holiday to lovely Dorset and get some runs in over half term. I agree, that a picker can have it a bit easy, but I think the problem is how the points are distributed rather than the frequency of the flowers.
Of course the other way to look at it is all credit to you for playing the game well and devising a lucrative training route!

I have a couple of places where I can develop quite lucrative flowers - running club is in a flower planting zone and if I do two club runs per week, run there and back and sometimes cycle past on my commute that's a fair amount of planting/watering - plus there are enough other runners around that they do sometimes get picked. I have been known to take slight detours when I get to club to make sure that I water as many of them as possible...

The flower density of my local park would net over a million points I reckon - but it has taken weeks of planting and watering to get to that stage. I run through it on my way out to longer runs to the north; I use the outer 1mile loop as part of a 4 mile route; and I use the inner 800m loop for intervals - plant lots of flowers on those days Most expensive flower around about 12,000 now I guess

No, I tell a lie, just found one at 19,658 points. Currently I'm on about 600,000 points for the month but about 250,000 came from one 12 mile run in which I picked someone else's flowers. But the route was planned with only flowers in mind. If you want to help yourself to mine just type Canons Park and then press Wheeee on the map

My commute is almost entirely in flower-planting territory (sometimes it's a run, sometimes it's a cycle). I've been cultivating my flowers for a very long time now, most of them twice a day. Because I have to go around the outside of the site to get in to work there's a concentration of high-point flowers around there. The highest point value I've seen is over 36000. If anyone feels the need to run in grimy Salford... just sayin (search for Eccles on the map)

SCP - i have a similar flower patch several flowers best ons over 8000 i'll just keep watering them in the hope one day someone will come and run that way
Trying to source other flower patches but atm that would involve a seriously long run
