doh forgot the game gets suspended at 8pm :( just been out for my goreilla as I misjudged where it was this morning.

I'm an isolated runner and for me like DD I have few days where I can easily get the marker, I have a lot of woodland/fells and farmers fields around me and you can guarantee thats where the goreilla likes to spend his time. What would make a good change/addition is a tough one but I'll give it some thoughts, although I'm sure some more experienced fetchpointers will be along with some great ideas that I'll say 'ohhhh yes good one'

But on the plus side I wouldnt have gone out tonight normally so another little mile added to my target and I'm nicely warmed up too. so thanks :)

I'm an isolated(ish) runner. Best change for me would be if goreillas / relays could be relocated like bugs, so if it was inaccessible then move it until it does become accessible, rather than disappearing altogether.

Maybe the markers - Gorerillas especially - should be randomly distributed at an even density across the map, and not be affected by how many runners there are locally? Or does that swing things too far the other way?

(It's also not just the isolation thing, by the way. The other thing about the Gorerillas here is that ALL FOUR were easily accessible by road or public footpath. Mine all crop up in fields or rivers or on railway lines, because the roads and paths are so few and far between where I am... I know the "report marker" thing will improve that in time, but it's slow going...)

A limited number of relocations perhaps else we could all do it until it was outside our front doors ;)

But in a ideal world and i know its a overly feasable idea for now is perhaps we could assign no go areas for bugs, coins, gorerillas etc so that us rural people are not hindered from inaccessable icons.

I can usually manage to get my 5 gorerillas each month as they appear often enough in gettable locations plus i have another fetchie a few miles away to the north in the town so those gorerillas are usually easier to get at.

Nick Cook - Fantastic. Been cultivating them for you for weeks. One weekend I will be able to escape and get yours or I shall take a very long detour like you on my way back from work. Keep looking at your flowers with envy :-)

In terms of improvements for isolated runners - whatever it is you need to make sure that it doesn't benefit non-isolated runners more. This is what has now happened with the flowers. Players who benefit most from flowers (except the glitchy players) are those who plant flowers, and then have someone else come and pick them.

It's quite hard to cover all eventualities when planning something. I have suggested before to increase the points awarded for planting flowers (500? - maybe more), and then looking at what happens then. Increase watering points to 250. How about reducing points gained for picking to half current levels.
You can either let flowers last indefinitely so long as they are watered every 4 weeks, or have a fixed lifetime of 4 weeks, and if still unpicked the original runner gets full value of points for them.

PH - looking at the number of Gore-illas and the bug penalties I used to get from just one bug placed somewhere in your patch and the number of coins - there are definitely more than just one of you playing.

And - no - don't keep the bug penalties suspended, thank you, please - I used to get about 1500 points a day from a handful of strategically placed bugs

And I agree with SCC - that there has to be some way in which flowers come to an end of their life - and all points go to the owner. Maybe have a time limit [4 weeks from last watering, or a total life span of 8 weeks (picking a number out of the air)] and the owner gets the points from the flower plus a bonus of x points if the flower has been watered more that y times in that 8 weeks.
