So, sorry to disappoint (:-o presumptuous!) but I'm not going to make this. I didn't think this through. The gig I'm at the night before is in North London and having checked the trains from there, I won't make it back to Redhill until 1:10 and that's before getting home from the station. To ensure I got to Hastings in time, I'd need to be on the 06:23. Even if I made that, I doubt I'd be in a position to run. Soz.

Aw shame McGoohan, another time. I have been doing a strict for "taper" for some time. No running at all, so 5 miles might feel more like a half.

I did a 2 mile tester this morning and I can say with absolute certainty that I’ll be blowing out my bum hole by 3 miles tomorrow...
