It’s a race that’s been added by GimmeMedals, Garfield. I think as a time trial to get a feel of what pace you can do. I want to try it to see if I can improve my ‘race standards’ score. I’ve currently got a score of 49% WAVA or mule deer.

Hope your hamstring improves, kstuart.

Easy does it kstuart and hope the hamstring behaves. I'm not in fast mode at the moment, so 2 miles would give me a depressing pace currently! ;) Tomorrow morning, I'll do some small interval-like things for my morning run. Just to get the legs turning over quicker than usual.

Didn’t you have your Covid vaccination recently, Garfield? If so, it makes sense to take it easy until you feel 100% again.

Ah. Thought it was more recent, Garfield. Hope you enjoy your interval session.

Hope your new job started well, MovingAlong. The lunchtime run sounds great too.

Thanks Ness.

Good luck on Thursday. I'm still nursing an injury so no speed or race stuff for me sadly. (and hence the interest in swimming!)

Thanks. And hope you recover from your injury soon. I haven’t done any swimming for years. I’m not keen on the local pools. Am tempted by the idea of outdoor swimming and have considered booking a slot at the quarry where Mr Ness and I used to go for scuba training. Haven’t plucked up the courage yet. Think the water temperature needs to be a bit higher for me!

Kirkbride up in Cumbria.

Hamstring was minor grumbly before i even started RTS in March so was carefully managed for that month then having had a cold earlier this month a chunk of no running would have made it better but not it seems.
