I have 6mm spikes in at the moment...I've never tried any other length on the track though...actually I have only recently started using my spikes anyway. Unless you mean what make and model, well in that case I have a pair of Nike something or other that were given to me for free and they aren't exactly a perfect fit. I've got a few other pairs that were given to me as well but none of them seem to fit very well. |

What's you're shoe size for normal Nike running shoes compared to the spike. I also wear Nike SomethingOrOthers - a good spike IMO. |

Should be about 8 ½ - 9, most of my trainers are Asics DS Trainer and I've only one pair of Nike Air Zoom's - I think they are 8 ½. Well they are quite old and but seem fine to me. |

Now not sure if I can make it. I need to go and get my bike from Evans, and Saturday afternoon is the only time i can go. Maybe I should go to the Mile, and then off to Waterloo...

100m was defo a great event at the East Midlands mile http://www.fetcheveryone.com/mile.php Interesting about the use of spikes, I'd only recently moved house and found a pair that I had when I was at school (cheapo £20 in JJB at the time) 10 years ago, which just about fit, so I stuck them on for the 100m and they weren't too bad! Well just about good enough to let me win... |
