SS - I think you will be fine in the 8+ group. My OH will be running it and her times are very similar to yours.

Made a couple of alterations to NJ's plan based on needing to get to the pub a bit earlier. I think it might be worth telling them it will be nearer 2pm that we will be there RT.

11:30 - 11:45 Meet at sports centre reception.

12:00 Meet on track. Changed.

12:10 Race 1. 8+ min/mile.
Time caller: Nightjar
Position ticket giver: Hammerite

12:25 Childrens Egg and spoon race
Referee: ????

12:35 Race 2. 6.30-8 min/mile.
Time caller: ????

12:50 Childrens Sack race
Referee: ????

13:00 Race 3. Sub 6.30 min/mile.
Time caller: ????
Position ticket giver: Hammerite

13:10 Childrens 100m
Referee: ????

13:20 Adults 100m (6 min/milers with egg and spoon)
Referee: none

13:30 All tidied up and off to the changing rooms.

Equipment:
Nightjar - stopwatch (watch), stopwatch (garmin), clipboard and paper
mxhornet - stopwatch
Hammerite - raffle tickets (for giving out in place order)
Girlie - Apple and Date Flapjacks
Blotts Mate - Eggs and spoons

prizes, we must have prizes, at least for the kiddies, should we all bring one small thing? we can get those cheapy toys for £1 at woolworths etc. we have 8 children? how old is the oldest? mine are from 6-10

Did no one notice that I forgot to include a warm up? * hangs head in shame *

So, next time it is reproduced (an article maybe) can we add a gentle jog around the track and some stretches?

Warm up? The only pre-race warm i will be doing will depend if i can get my hands on Girlies flapjacks *oo-er missus* before we start or not.
