Whoops I missed that too so pretty much as before I'll happily pace the two slower groups before taking the last one a bit more seriously :)

I will hopefully pace in the 6:30+ group from somewhere in the middle of the pack. Not really a front runner type pacer :)

Is there a cunningly managed central plan for this fantastic event? Now admittedly, we perhaps don't want to get too carried away with planning but I wonder if we should have an idea of who is going to man the stop watches for each race. I'll man a watch for the first race (assuming we do the slower ones first). Would a list help?

Do we have a stopwatch? Need someone who knows how to operate one too. I've never used one. My ambition was to get someone with experience to time keep but haven't confirmed anyone. Also need to decide how to identify people at the finish. I think I have a batch of spare race no.s from a club race. We could get people to take a number and enter their no. & name for the pace group they are running in. Then at the finish have a timekeeper & a number recorder like a normal race & match identity & times. Are you with me??!

We could do what CY suggested and give a number out to people as they finish, collect them up and tally number to time recorded (like they do in a lot of xc leagues).

I have a raffle ticket book we could use.
