RT yes there is a system of flashing green lights around the track you can set to whatever pace you want, if it's still there that is.

I will/can do timing for any race I am not in. Do ask if you need any help. And, looking at the Turing thread Hammerite has organising experience (not saying that he should arrange anything) and I am sure will be sageful in any advice given.
