Bit keen there Hammerite! How's the recovery going?

We're going to try and bring the young ones with us but they have a tendency to spring birthday party invites on us so it's a bit early to say!

Oh yeah, birthday invites I know all about that! Kids have better social lives than adults. When I was a boy

:-) ....... we used to just invite our close mates to parties, perhaps there would be 10-15 of us. But now it seems that you have to invite everyone in your class to a party. That works out at 25 parties a year! One time I had to drop the little one off to a party, collect, drop him straight to another, and then another. That's 6 hours of partying, and the same kids were at each (give or take a few!). Still apart from all the ferrying about it meant a quiet day, and a quiet night, the poor lad came home knackered!!

Recovery is ok, I managed a 30 yard jog across the car park last week to the car when it was raining without no ill effects!! Plus I managed 25 miles on the bike at the weekend, first session since the injury, the legs felt shot through when I finished!! I'm off to see Katie tonight so I might get the all clear to start running again (fingers crossed everyone!).
