I'm in. Suggest not Cambridge re parking. If we want an official mile recommend a track. West Suffolk track at Bury is a possibility. Can make enquiries if anyone agrees.

With the 5k track challenges we do it in batches re predicted time. For 1 mile it would be even easier as obv quicker. Recommend 4 groups sub 10 sub 8 sub 7 & sub 6

I'm in.

Happy to leave it to BM to organise a track at Bury, otherwise I'm also happy to ask about using the University track in Cambridge, where there is parking.

Only time I've ben to Bury was in my teens. Biked a thousand miles down to Koln and back with no trouble except for some arseholes at a chip shop outside Bury who decided to pick a fight with us. It's been crossed off the list of places I ever want to visit again since.

Oh dear NJ. Track is nowhere near any chipshops if that helps.

Will ring the leisure centre Mon and chk availability. Sat or Sun? am or pm? I can recruit an official timekeeper. If we get some dates then vote on which one suits most people
