Right, here we go with September. Based on an idea that came to me last year and I haven't managed to get rid. Please note the offer of some clues, and the request for no spoilers, at the bottom. 1. Having a BALL 2. A BANNISTER or handrail 3. A BLACK animal 4. Making a BOLT for it 5. Something you would use to COOK (or if you prefer, a SMALL WOOD) 6. A HALL 7. Over the HILL 8. Eat, drink and be MERRY 9. POWER to the people 10. Far and WIDE Can you be a Sherlock HOLMES and spot the link between the words in capitals? If so, give yourself a medal and see if you can find another treasure to add to the set. And can you spot the interloper that shouldn’t be there, but feels like it should? No spoilers until the end of the month please! But do fmail me if you want me to check you have spotted correctly, or you want a clue. |
