Today's calendar challenge is a treasure hunt. Find ten different things whilst you run, ride or walk. Me and Katie did ours together (even though we're not going to win the prize, obvs): fetcheveryone.com/blog/3/2019/12#blog400378 It looks as though those of you who took part have had fun - and I've been wondering whether we could have a monthly hunt - e.g. the first weekend of each month; with a different person producing the list of items each time. Just for fun, but maybe with a leaderboard e.g. fastest time to collect all the items, or least distance covered to find them all. If you're interested, give this thread a follow

I suspect all we need is a leafue and a badge (or few) and you'll be mobbed. May need a badge for setting it, and a badge for doing it? Oh - and a bump for features #238 and #307, then you wouldn't need to bump this

8 watchers. That's enough to kick off a monthly treasure hunt Who would like to pick 10 searchables for our January hunt? Suggested rules: 1) the picker posts the list on the thread on the 1st of the month. 1b) bear in mind that we may well have urban and rural players. 2) everyone who wants to play has to upload their selfies featuring the item before the end of the month. 3) we pick a new picker, and go round again. When I was choosing the list for the calendar, I was mentally walking round Bedford, picking the items to add - so I think it'd be fascinating to find someone else's stuff

The ‘rules’ :
1) Have fun.
2) Drop a note in this thread, which will trigger the tracking for the badge.
3) Take a picture of the item, as literal or as off the wall as you want and post in a blog with as much information as you choose to share. Include the word Treasure or capital TH in the title.
4) You can post daily, every few days, or leave it for one final blog anytime up to and including 10th January.
As an added incentive, thanks to the wonders of Fetch, there’s a badge for getting all of them by midnight 10th January
The small print :
- The badge award will be tracked and triggered manually, so it may take longer to arrive than the few milliseconds you’ve become used to for automatically triggered badges.
- Last year some of you decided to blog once and then edit the same blog. If you do that, please post a note and link here, or you may find the updated entry isn’t seen and the badge won’t be triggered.
