Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I could probably do with a mile even if it's not racing, so 'll be happy to pace for an 8mm.

I've just about given up on it to be honest, even a break from running completely hasn't done me any favours, in fact it seems worse, so a mile won't make too much difference.

Is it ITB?

I had that when i did FLM in 2007 and things got to a point that nothing helped, in fact rest seemed to make it worse, so i juat thought 'what the hell' and ran........bingo it got fixed.......it just needed a damn good stretch with warm muscles.
Not saying thats the answer for everyone but it worked for me :-)

No, the ITB is fine now, nice and loose after two months of rolling :-)

It's the knee itself, I may have to have another scan for them to find out what's wrong again, but maybe I'll try your approach and see what occurs :-)

MF - ouch :-(

John - I think we're a similar speed - I can't pace you as such, but I might manage motivational grunts!

MF back in 2004 I was having problems everytime I got out of the car my knees would go. So I took up running ... havnt had any knee problems since.

Not saying thats the answer for everyone but it worked for me ... MF you might as well give it a go ... take up running :-) ;-)
