Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
I got a Lego Technic set for Christmas! It's taken an hour to do less than 1/4 of it so far. It's fun. We did secret Santa this year so everyone gets one slightly bigger pres and you can use wishlist feature to give ideas. Worked out well for me! Any other good model building presents received?! Festive Frolics to all. G

Groundhog
Something a bit different. A wooden motorbike model I got for Christmas. Very detailed and all the pieces are locked together using dowels made from cocktail sticks. As with others of this type I have made, there is a clockwork mechanism that is difficult to make work as there is so much friction in the cogs. It was fun to make though I want to alter the routing of the cables so the brakes and throttle go to the right handlebar and clutch to the left. |
