Is there a date for one in June or did I miss the memo??? Everytime we go to parkrun, my 5year old says, "not that one - I want to go to the red road one!!!!!"

I don't think anyone has taken up the reins from John66 - it's been left hanging...

Who has a clear understanding of what's needed to organise a Fetch mile? Obviously we need a dispute about date and location, but beyond that?

John is free to correct me but I don't think very much is required before the day. Someone needs to make sure the track is free and accommodate us. I'm happy to do that but I couldn't last time because I was out of the country. It would be great to have another mile, maybe when it warms up and marathon season is done? |

Get BB to do it, or did he just come up with the idea then bugger off and leave setting them up to everybody else?

What do you need for time-keeping? The first mile I did, you just got your time called out as you finished, I think, but since then people have had rather large intimidating machines to do the job.

In the past we have just used someones garmin for timing. Nothing high tech at all about it. Recent organising has been along the lines of phoning up Battersea track and asking when it is available for public use. We all then turn up and pay our £2.30 or however much it is. I would be up for a mile sometime. Seems like a very long time since we did it last. |

Maybe you could get a well-known Fetch lawyer to put up a watertight poll for that date?
