Northern Exile Sep 2022 10:50pm, 13 Sep 2022 9,133 posts	0 Northern Exile Don't often feel the need to eulogise over regular midweek runs out, but I did a loop around Embsay and Cracoe moors tonight as the sun was dropping and I have to say the visual clarity was outstanding, stunning views and a big orange moon on the way home. More miles than usual on a school night, but worth it.

Did one of Chris Holdsworth's Pennine Trail series tonight, and here too the clear views and sunset were both stunning. Reminds me how lucky we are to have such amazing countryside on the doorstep.

Gromit Sep 2022 9:23pm, 23 Sep 2022 1,816 posts	0 Gromit Yep numerous times … I wouldn’t class it as a fell race tho .. fields and woodland down to the canal then a drag race along the canal tow path before climb back up thru woodland stand top out at the memorial and sprint back down to the finish on the playing field in the centre of the village fete .. nice little race with usually a bottle of beer as a finish momento 👍
