Hamilton detractors are silly. Are we forgetting that this is the guy that matched Alonso in his first season? Wanting other cars to close the gap is a different proposition. Russell vs Bottas will be interesting. |

No quali spoiler, but surely that lap is far too short, just 53s a lap. With 20 cars on the circuit, then it's going to be carnage. Going to be interesting.........

Such fine margins, he's done a fine job to get that front row start. Nice "mic drop" by Leclerc too. Alonso-like ability to get more out of the car than should be possible. |

Watched it live, absolutely gutted for GR. But I think he added a few million to his next contact negotiations today, he was flawless. He took his chance perfectly. |
