Oh it looks like my opponent has had his account closed for fair play violation. Nothing remotely untoward in my game, apart from two rather silly draw offers!

The game hasn't been listed as ended yet though.

It will timeout. Chess.com is odd that way, it doesn't just end the game.

Ah thanks. A shame as I was looking forward to winning over the board :-)

@jda - what does that mean for your second game against your opponent? Do we get that point too, or does it disappear because it can't be started?

my guess is it starts and timesout, either way we get the points.

This is all looking like very good news in the Academy match although there’s a long way to go in a 72 board score.

James should get a rating boost for the first gave, but not the second but definitely 2 wins to keep that 100% Fetchie record intact.

I wonder if one of their Academy modules is ‘how to offer your opponent a draw?’

Sorry to keep posting….but I did take a look at James’s Academy Opp at the start of our match and he looked very underrated based on his faster speed game history.

Perhaps he was ‘wind-assisted’ in those games?

Well played BanjoBax, it looks like I’m headed back to Div.9 at the end of the month. ⬇️
