I'm guessing FR was tongue-in-cheek when he asked, but to state the obvious (to most people!) there's a big difference between "allowed" and "appropriate".

I would love to go to the Lakes tomorrow as it is 'perfect' inversion weather. But I will obey the moral and legal obligations and stay at home. :(

I will be honest it does make me sad, as being up a hill looking down on fog/mist/cloud is a very special experience.
