I have all the ticks in all the seven books. However, never done Striding Edge (but have done Swirral Edge), also never done Sharp Edge. Loads of really decent hills I've only summited once, e.g. Blencathra and St. Sunday Crag. Difficult to have a favourite book, as I love the North-Western Fells, particularly Grisedale Pike. But Wasdale has to be my favourite valley which is touched by the Western and Southern Fells. Most frequently visited Wainwright has to be either Latrigg or Walla Crag. The Fells that are my least favourite, have to be the boggy spine from High Raise north to Bleaberry Fell, surely nobody can love High Tove or Armboth Fell, perhaps both best tackled either in a scorching hot summer or in the middle of Winter when the bogs are frozen? |

Rosehip, Haystacks is a mighty fine choice. The ascent from Scarth Gap to the summit(s) can be made as hard or easy as you like, if you like some mild scrambling. Just before Easter we parked on the road to Honister and did Haystacks via that route and down the other side. I went onto summit Fleetwith Pike while the others made the descent via Warnscale Bottom back to the car. |

Kinky, I don't think so. Binsey will have to wait until a suitable opportunity presents itself I'm afraid. That might be a while.

Binsey is definitely an outlier. Unless you're cycling it doesn't fit any round. I did it when using the back roads from Keswick to Carlisle. |

Was in LD in Apr/May doing the Keswick half, and a few lower fells during the week, but had to abort some higher walks due to gales. Will be back in September for a week, staying just outside Keswick, so Northern Fells is a definite maybe. Also high on the to-do list is the Dale Head/Hindscarth/Robinson side of the Newlands valley, and may have a day on the East side of Ullswater. Wherever we end up will be brilliant |
