Bumping this in case it goes in the great thread cull panda. Though don't rush to Falkirk just at the moment, groundwork on the paths is taking longer than it was meant to, so rather than restarting this week, it looks like being at least a couple of weeks more. It does mean than Falkirk runners visiting other runs though. Try Eglinton (near Irvine), it is possibly the most "Falkirk-like" of the other Scottish runs. But flatter.

(I may be overstatiing "great thread cull". But there have been some post syphonings.)

Didn't even know there was an Eglinton parkrun Dv, thanks for notification. Dundee is park trail and hilly, I believe (must be Camperdown end, is it?).

Looking forward to a bit of parkrun tourism, in the future. :-)G

Three events so far at Eglinton, attendances of 118, 42, 96. But the second week was rubbish weather. I was at the first one and I did have my worries as I drove through the snow on my way down snow :-o. But conditions were fine on arrival. Don't take any shoes you want to keep clean there. Although it might seem far (being "beyond Glesca") it only me took an hour to get there. On the way back, you could pop into Pollok Park and do a freedom run there :-).

We did the inaugural St Andrews one ... three laps of the park, slightly hilly, partially on grass, sneaky turn at the finish, good fun race

Unfortunately the train wasn't running that day :-( so I will need to go back

Lets hope this date turns out to be right. Feel like I've been stuck at 46 parkruns for ages.

I'm on 47. But I would prefer the 50th to be at Falkirk. Hmm. Couple of lie-ins ahead.

Confirmed - the Return of Falkirk parkrun on May 4th :-) The course will apparently need a remeasure as there is a new path. Ooh exciting ;-)
