I have just discovered that there is to be an Exeter Marathon this year. I am particularly interested in this, as it takes place on 15 May, which is 33 years to the day after I ran my very first marathon, coincidentally in Exeter (albeit on a different course)! Anyway, I thought I'd mention it here, as I know lots of runners like to try our new marathons and the publicity seems to be very low key. I have added it to the race listings. |

Oh, now this is interesting. I'm all booked up for this year, but it's something to look out for in the future. If only it wasn't the same weekend as Windermere

It's four laps of the First Chance 10k course, which probably counts as a Track Marathon for these parts
