I know these guys at freestak quite well. They started their business out of nothing a few years ago and are getting bigger all the time.

They are looking for a product manager for a couple of web based projects they are working on. Thought I'd share as it might be something someone here might be interesting

Some details...

ABOUT US
Freestak is an exciting start-up active in the Sports industry, focused on creating innovative solutions for our clients. We’re currently working on two marketplace platforms: one internal (marketplace for sports bloggers and brands to collaborate on marketing campaigns), and one for a client (marketplace for sports instructors). After 3 months in beta, we are now looking for a hands-on Product Manager to take those platforms to the next level.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and motivated Product Manager to join our team and deliver product excellence – from problem discovery through to concept development, build, launch, analytics and iteration.

You will:

Be a key contributor to the strategy and long term vision of the products, working with the co-founders to define strategic priorities
Have ownership of the product roadmap
Lead the ideation; run ongoing user testing and market research to understand requirements (for both sides of the marketplace), identify product opportunities (including new products / product enhancements) and champion user experience within the company
Write user stories, manage the backlog and work with our designer and technical lead to implement, test and release features
Be responsible for key business metrics (especially usage and churn); you will work closely with the Marketing team and Community Managers, making recommendations to maintain a healthy user base and usage levels
Implement and run all analytics: Product Analytics (web & mobile) and Marketing Performance analytics
Build a set of complex dashboards – both for internal reporting (for our management team, community manager, marketing manager, investors etc) and for our users (users’ dashboards, marketing campaign analytics, social media analytics etc)
