Weather looks OK for the weekend. This event may break me, but looking forward to it in a sadistic kinda way.

It'll be my first time and I seem to have prepared by doing as little running as possible! I'm in a team of 7.

Is there anything I really should bring, other than usual camping stuff? I know about needing lights at night.

Weather looks pretty good for running - a few days ago I was a bit worried when it was forecast to be hot and sunny.

Yeah weather looks good. Needs to not rain too much at the start, as a lot of runners at the same time at that point and it could get boggy, but outside of that it seems perfect temperature etc.

If you have a tent, headtorch, blister stuff, loo roll, change of clothes etc then you are pretty much there as food and drink can be purchased there if you don't want to bring your own. I took tons of food last time and ended up buying a burger at about 10pm and that was about all I ate, for some reason!

I'm baking some things to bring so that I have bits I can eat little and often, to avoid having to plan runs around meals. Other than that trying to travel light.

Yep, good approach. I will be doing much the same. Really hoping I manage three laps but we will see.

I now need to take the train instead of driving. Packing just got a *lot* more difficult!

Who are you running with SK? I'll be in the middle with the pairs/solos. Will keep an eye out for you.

CStar, how can I identify you from behind? I'll try and say hello if I know it's you! I'll probably be in canary yellow for most of it so shout at me if I run past. I'm in a 5 so should have 7 chances for our paths to cross on the course.
