I think on finding out that inaccurate hearsay was presented as evidence in the meeting, it's understandable that she is disgruntled with that. If her current condition was materially relevant they should have been a bit more professional about assessing it.

Times and experience so 6 Vs 2 Vs 1 marathon finished.

Selectors notes on meeting for decision having factually incorrect information isn't "Mickey Mouse evidence" and can't see how you can call it that yet say you support someone fighting their corner.

As before, I'd just be a bit wary of taking her version of events as complete/accurate.

I do support people fighting their corner, but always with respect.

Purdue's marathon results with * for getting Tokyo Olympic qualifying time:

2:32 / DNF / 2:30 / 2:29* / 2:29 / 2:30 / DNF / 2:25* / DNF

I do think she made some very solid improvements, a couple of great half marathon times, some a bit faster than Twell's 68:55 PB set last year.

But that's hardly the most stellar record of marathon results, she's got one standout effort from nine starts.

If you asked me to guess what she'd do in Tokyo, I'd be asking for a price about DNF since she has failed to start either of her last two big races.

Sad for Purdue but someone was always going to be disappointed, it’s a shame :-(

It was rejected a few days ago. The story was she was looking at legal options but from her IG post a few days back it seems she's accepted it now.

It’s a bit like the USA trials . I always think of Harrison when she missed out then went on to break the WR a bit later.

Hope this fires Purdue up to even greater things. ( although I think the Olympics are the greatest )
