Only spotted the email today DT. Better than I-IV on first listen, so really good. |

Not sure if this is a dead thread now? I totally missed FLA released a new album at the start of the year. Sounds like the stuff they were doing in the 90's. Also I've got tickets to see Andy Bell Space Station next Feb. Not entirely sure what to expect, but he's playing on independent venue day so the tickets were 6.60 including booking fee. |

Bell has had a varied career to date: I enjoyed his work with 'Ride' but was less taken by the 'Oasis' stint.

Ride were never a favourite of mine, but I didn't dislike them either. I liked the first Glok album, the second one didn't really grow on me. |

Put off by electronic music initially, possibly as a result of going to the same school as Chris Lowe and David Ball, although Erasure were a guilty pleasure!

Was there an after school keyboard club? Oneohtrix Point Never sound interesting, will give them a better look. Love BoC. |

The film accompanying the very listenable Oneohtrix track ^ reminded me of the playgrounds at Pripyat before the disaster at Chernobyl. Not a -ve criticism: more a reflection on how I absorb music and media.

The last BoC album was incredible. Went to see Kelly Lee Owens at the weekend. Incredible, incredible gig. Love her stuff. |
