Late in adding a note of thanks, but was so happy to see you all! The Half was going pretty well anyway for me, and then i turned a corner and there you all were, bellowing and toot tooting away! I got quite excited yelling Go Fetchies and almost cut across another runner, thankfully righted myself without too much bother to her. Support was awesome, thank you!

I think I have regained my voice. McNewbie, everybody who squirts water at runners should be prosecuted. I remember the look on that women's face Smout mentioned. Having to dodge well-meaning residents with their hoses and water pistols was the worst thing in my first marathon (Edinburgh 2010).

Fetchpoint at 8.2 miles -from 9.00am
Directions:
From city centre get 26 or 44 Lothian bus (takes 45 mins)
Get off at Brunton Hall in Musselburgh (2nd stop after entering Musselburgh and passing a Shell garage on left, Lidl on right)
Walk over to Links View and mini Fetchpoint will be there!!!
Look out for the balloons and the loons!!!
Feel free to bring jelly babies etc
Saturday - Pre race drink
3.00pm at Ryan's Bar, Shandwick Place (?), West End end of Princes Street
