GAshleyHBTHi Edinburgh Runners,
A few of the guys in HBT in Edinburgh have developed a new ginger based sports drink in association with Heriot Watt University. We are in the process of testing its effect on GI disruption and palatability in the form of free 5K races on Meadows every Monday at 7pm until the end of July. We are looking for as many Edinburgh based runners to come and compete. You will need to come for 3 Mondays between now and the end of June. Full details below and the Facebook page is here –

Are you a runner in Edinburgh? Would you like to participate in a new natural sports drink trial in the form of a free 5k race on Monday night, on the Meadows? Yes? Then read on…..
In association with Heriot Watt University, a small team of runners from Edinburgh are testing the efficacy and palatability of Active Root this summer. You will be asked to drink one of three drinks before the 5k and fill out a half a very quick questionnaire and then race. After the race, you will drink the same drink and finish the questionnaire. We will need you for 3 OUT OF 8 MONDAYS through June/July. Numbers will be provided and there will be ales for prizes! Naturally.
Where –East end of the Meadows, next to the play park (DVC corner)
When – 7pm Monday nights. Race at about 7.10.
It won’t take long! Many thanks for your help if you can spare some time. We massively appreciate it. Please share as much as you like!
