I'm going on the blower to VLM this morning to see what they will accept as proof, considering all I can give them is a screen dump (which could in theory be doctored), for championship entry. Entry doesn't open until August. GSI could be out the game by then!!!

I ran 4:38:07, but got the feeling as I ran through the latter miles some water stations had been removed? I was thirsty and saw a sign "drinks ahead" but just saw empty gels and bottles but no drinks or people or tables? Also bored of the course now and didn't think there was much support. I got my tshirt and liked it but all 3 I have are so similar. I was also handed a M half shirt first?? Medal is nice but yes, an offensive weapon!! Great hot showers, but unfortunately the most amazingly ridiculous part of the race became apparent when I tried to get dressed after. Well done EMF for your inspired decision to take all the bags off the dry truck, and place them on the wet grass in pouring rain, meaning that my dry change of clothes were wet. Brilliant. Shuttle buses are always a joke, so got the local Lothian bus right outside for 1.50 as usual. no queue not packed and regular as clockwork. Not so fussed about it not being in the city as I had all weekend to explore, and it is a wonderful place. I'd return to Edinburgh, but not to EMF. Not publishing the results is a joke. It is a race, therefore the idea is you race other people? otherwise what's the point?

Do it NOW incase this company go to the wall. I'm just off the phone to VLM, they will accept the certificate.
