"All your personal data and information, including your running times, are treated with great respect. As such your result information is exclusively available to you within your My Details account after you have completed the race. We will only openly publish the top 3 finishers of each race. You will need to log in to your My Details account to get your times, splits and finishing position within the race. You can then choose to share this information as you see fit. They are your results and times." So only the participant themself will have access to the result ... ... unless your name is marathon-photos.com??? |

the interesting point is that they claim to be an IAAF Bronze race...as a bronze race they are obliged to publish the top twenty finishers direct to IAAF as soon as the race finishes....a quick look on the IAAF website doesn't show any results from this race. The fact that you can see any runners official time by searching on the official photographs website does somewhat make a mockery on GSi's 'data protection' argument. I'm interested to know the *real* reason they're not publishing results, the only reason I can think for deciding to not publish results is based around hiding something (perhaps the number of runners registered?). Aparantly GSi are the team behind the Bournemouth Festival of Running and did the same at Bournemouth last year. I would personally avoid any event organised by GSi. |

SOD that was a reason I had heard something to do with levies they need to pay at various levels of participants!? So no official records makes it easy to pay lower levies. This is only hearsay in fairness but TBH they do not instill a lot of trust or confidence with what seems a continual disregard for runner feedback. |

interestingly enough...if you search through Run Britain for the Bournemouth Festival of Running results you'll find the 5k and 10k listed but NOT the marathon. I'm pretty confident the same team were organising this?
