My first marathon, at points in race i was thinking never again but now its done I can say I really enjoyed the day . i got just over my target time but at least the weather held out until end. I didn't notice any other fetchies and I was wearing a charity shirt. Good atmosphere all round although the shuttle buses for spectators were a mess on way in, better at end back into town. What next... I 'll have to have a think. there's a new 10k at Bannockburn to mark the anniversary at end of June, that may be a nice wee way back into racing. well done everyone who completed the races yesterday.

3:20:18 for the marathon, tough last few miles where the fight with the headwind between 10-18 caught up with the legs, never really got the benefit of the wind at our backs on the road home.
4th time doing Edinburgh and probably my last, bored with the course and the finish at Musselburgh race course was far better, also seemed a bit of a shambles after the finish area just as the downpour started, not enough marshals to direct to reunion area and lack of signage.

That's a shame Cammy. I actually prefer pinkie park as it's much bigger. And easier to get out of. There is a feedback form, let them know the issues.

Cheers Boab, already done the feedback form.
Just think as a runner the grandstand finish was brilliant.

I think the results thing is odd - are they going to get added ti Run Britain - probbaly not which is a shame
I am with Cammy on the Racecourse finish as well - much better and I never had issues witnspace - in fact the bottleneck when leaving and trying to get to the baggage area wasnt great yesterday

Strange about not making results public as I like to see how friends and club members have done.

I know generally results are public but when I actually think about it, it is your info. No point in other people looking up your results. I've done it on small races where I've wanted to see what the standard generally is.

Maybe a response to the VLM outing of cheats and just being safe. It will be a shame if that means these results are not on Run Britain or Power of 10 as thats the whole point of these sites
