Well now the VLM is finished I feel the pressure is now on for the Edinburgh. This is my first marathon and as I didn't get through the ballot for London decided to try for Edinburgh. The big miles are on now the 20 LSR felt good last week (I could have carried on) but I really struggled today. Does anyone else find it feels harder rather than easier the closer you get - or is that just me? I'm keeping to my plan and making sure I fuel well the days before my LSR.

Plans are often like that, the 20 gets done on legs that get more tired each time. Mine have never got easier, and I usually find the first 20 of a block to be the fastest and easiest.
Then you taper and recover it all!

You have good runs and bad runs all the way through the training block. It's all training.
