Just entered (with a full 16+ hours to deadline!). Didn't see a thread, so I thought I'd start one.

Third time at Edinburgh, always PB'd, always cramped (never cramped in any of my others). I'm running London this year as well, so Edinburgh's 'just for fun'.

I'm in. Take 3. Might not blow up at 20 miles for once.

Hey, Badger, just stalked your profile and saw your marathon pb is close to mine. What time did you put in for at Edinburgh? Would be nice if we were starting close together.

4:05. I might get brave and revise it to 3:59 nearer the time :) Yourself?

First time I did it I started off in a Fetchie 4 hour bus, which was great. Lost them when a shoelace came undone and I couldn't get back into the pack when I'd retied it. I use lock laces these days...

Lock laces are the biz! I put in 3.56 - gulp! Pb was quite a tough course.

For anyone travelling to Edinburgh for this and looking for accommodation...

Edinburgh is also hosting (on the Saturday) the Guinness Pro 12 Cup Final at Murrayfield (rugby union for those of you not following). This is the league for Scottish, Welsh, Irish and Italian teams, so there is a very strong possibility that most of the attendees will be travelling. Rugby fans being rugby fans, this probably means that they will also be drinking, eating and staying in town on the Saturday night.

Hi, I just realised I should do this race for once in my life but I also realise I'm too late for a regular entry. I believe I can do a transferred entry if someone has a place they're not using. So if you know of anyone who might not be able to make it, I'm interested. Sorry if this has been covered in another thread.
