Woo hoo I did it!!! I completed my first half marathon. My Garmin also showed me running 13:42m. Time was not blistering but my feet are lol. Fetchies THANK YOU for the support. I was looking out for you as I was nearling the 6 miles. Apart from the weather, the distance issues, the lack of loos and running out of waterat the 3 mile mark and after the 6 mile mark I thoroughly enjoyed myself and have raised £200 so far for MacMillan (yes I was the delirious looney shouting "fetchies" at you).

Long course is bad....must be awful if a PB was on....I struggle to understand how cones at mile 10 could add on 0.3 of a mile. Mile 10 must be somewhere just after the racecourse and its a straight road fromthere unless there was a detour up a side street or something.

Baz, mile 10 is the turning point so it must've been too far along. Racecourse is 7m.

Turning point was def longer than last year...so, whether badly planned or someone did "move the cone" I reckon that`s where it happened
