We're going to "defect" from Basingstoke for a few weeks just to start this one up, and it would be great if as many people as possible could come along. Please spread the word amongst your local running clubs! If anyone's interested in getting involved from a volunteer perspective, then please email eastleighHelpers@parkrun.com or for any more information about the new parkrun then email eastleighOffice@parkrun.com. There's also going to be an event pilot this Saturday (1 May) at 9am and we're pretty desperate to get some people to come and run the course as guinea-pigs. We had a mini-trial on Saturday afternoon (with 3 runners) which went well, but we need to do another pilot with more runners. (Oh, and there's a fabulous coffee house at the steam railway station for afterwards!)

I was the sweeper on last Saturdays trial I loved the course its 2 laps all off road with a couple challenging bits. We really need your support to kickstart this. I've sent an email to Eastleigh Running Club and I've also sent an email around work
