A pb will be dead easy for me to achieve I did the Fetch 1 mile challange in India in december, barefoot, off road on a hilly cardamom plantation, think it took me 10 minutes lol!

Definitely NOT! The good thing about running (and yoga :-)) is that we can all do it at our own level at the same time and still have fun and make achievements
I am rather suspecting I will run faster than 10 minutes for a mile with shoes on and on a flat smooth surface though. Also, it won't be 4 am and it won't be scorching hot either

Don't count on the weather, Hanneke - you never know nowadays. I got rain, hail, sunshine & birdcrap yesterday.

VERY lumpy... ground was quite sharp under foot, even though I had been going shoeless for neigh on two weeks by then...

Yeah quimb, you are right... it freezes one moment and the next moment it is hot... I went for a fell run on saturday and guess what? I was very hot to begin with, then got caught in a hailstorm!!! When I got home it was warm enough to have breakfast outside and on Sunday the garden was covered in several inches of snow!!!
