Barky, thanks very much for organizing this. It was great to meet everyone; and also fun to get back on the track again after a few decades. At least it was fun until the back straight of the final lap. The final three hundred metres was a bit less fun, but it felt good to see that finishing line. Last time I raced a mile it was a water-logged grass track so Moorways was great.
So thanks every one. I look forward to meeting up again on a slightly warmer day. OS, I hope your little one is OK.

Cheers Barky for the organisation, and well done. Enjoyed it apart from the ten minutes after I had finished when I was convinced I was about to die - and wouldn't have minded if I had!
Nice to meet you all - Firestarter, Ally2, Boycie, Thornton Runner, DawnieBob, Raging Bull, Racing Snail; although I swear I've seen you all somewhere before...

T'was good to meet you too Yuelity, and all the others, I think it's fair to say that everyone enjoyed the event.
June 5 will be placed on the club calendar. And since we're plugging races, if you fancy a good, if slightly hilly 10K, then keep Sept 14th Open next year for our open race(provided that doesn't clash with anything major). We had quite a number of Fetchies there when we held it for the first time this year, and hope to see some more in 2008.........How's that for an early plug..:-)
