Hi, wasn't ignoring all those physio references yesterday - was at a league meeting. Like the spanner that I am, the rest of the team went to Stourport near Kidderminster whilst I drove to Stourbridge near Kidderminster! Found my way eventually - at least I missed the long jump! Remember I am not a specialist sports physio - I used to work in intensive care, now womens health and paediatrics! I will bring my lovely sports injury book because it's very helpful and it sounds like Hanneke has lots of info and experience. Off to town to buy some sort of cake ingredients as I am on call from 2pm til 9 tomorrow. See you all tomorrow - hope the rain disappears!

Hi nic.....don't worry we're runners we're always injured;-).....anyhow the intensive care work might be more useful for treating us "Crocks" after the mile anyway:-)
Keep praying Barky, hopefully the rain will "stay in the plains"....:-)

Just some light drizzle here this morning, but it was still really warm for my run.
I have goth wellies. Better bring them just in case!
A few zillion pages ago there was a list of who was doing each race, and for some reason I think I was down to do the Speed Merchants. Methinks not! My PB is 6.02 and I've just had 3 weeks off. 6.10 might be realistic.
Really looking forward to my 100m PB
Now, really must get around to checking directions.

Are we parking at the sports centre or is there parking at the track? And is there anywhere to warm up?

The main car park is on the right, while the main sports centre is on the left. However, if you follow the road through some gates - the track is in front. Follow the road left and then right - there is parking there! Technically we have the track from 10 and plenty of time for warming up.
