Do you do ITB stretches Barky? I need to do them religiously, as my ITB problems are fairly chronic... I also use 'The Stick' for rol;ling the IT Band out and have regular sports massage to help with it...

Just take it easy Barky.....ITB often happens - so I'm reliably informed - because you've done one of a number of things, Upped your mileage a lot, upped the number of hills you run, footwear that's "past it" etc etc. At least that's what I was told. A trip to the Fizz should get it sorted.........I'm having to do the same thing.

My initial ITB problems were cause by always running on the same side of narrow country lanes... so I was always running on the same camber. I now don't run on the road anymore, so don't have that problem, but when I do, especially for longer runs, I change the side of the road I am running on regularly... This is especially essentila for long runs!
