Only remembered today that I was going without alcohol when I saw a chap in Tesco with a few bottles of Rattler. Thought about getting some but then remembered I'm not drinking. A whole month has almost passed without me even thinking about drinking.  |

Thank God it's now February ... managed no alcohol all January but did not save money or lose weight as made up for the spending in Greggs - Glass of red wine with dinner tonight (well it is supposed to be good for you isn't it) Good luck to those continuing until VLM though |

Well done everyone who made it through January without a drink. Ididn't lose any weight either but that's probably because I thought I could eat whatever I wanted because I was marathon training. Back to weight watchers today so hopefully now with the training for VLM and no alcohol the weight will start coming off. |

Only had 1 glass of wine (CHristmas Day) since October. Not missing booze at all tbh so shouldn't be a problem getting through to VLM. Doing Edi as well so will catrry on until at least then... |

I have managed to get through January and the last two weeks with my OH being very ill in hospital without turning to the wine - to be honest it has been good not immediately reaching for the glass even when it would have numbed my emotions - so I will keep going to VLM if i have managed the last two weeks then the next two months shouldn't be too much of a problem. |
