flanker
well, due to a slight navigation hiccup I ended up going 2:45 rather than 3, but it was the hardest run I've done for ages. I normally struggle to keep it down to my LSR pace. Today I struggled, and failed, to hit it. My garmin VP is still gloating at me. Al these late nights, alcohol and crap food are doign me no good.
Oh well, just short of 17 (v slow) miles, but at least the body felt fine apart from the legs being exhausted. I now know it's still there and I can get it back again. My flexors/adductor/groin all feeling sore now, but it's an overuse/tired sore rather than a damaged sore, but the way I'm having to ramp up the miles to hit T2T & Draycote that's to be expected.
rest day tomorrow, then mid-distance back-to-backs at the weekend to burn off some calories ready for next week.
Sorry - this just seems to have turned into a blog post!!
Right, off to warm up the remains of last night's curry for lunch.
