See also my rant about Trent Frederic a few weeks ago - not even the designated enforcer, the bloke's just a dirty player.

The Sixers? The 1 seed is pretty much secure now so they're in cruise mode now and lapses are happening due to that it seems. That game should have been sewn up by solid 3 quarter play. As long as they're ready to go in the playoffs, it's all good.

Lakers in 7 now.

Knicks @ Clippers is live on Sky YouTube's channel at 20:30 tomorrow. The Knicks have been decent this year and might make the second round (would likely play the Sixers)

I think the Knicks are under less pressure this year as everyone seems to be pouring onto the Nets as either newborn fanboys and girls or as haters.

That's too simplistic. They have a new coach and looking at current starters, this is their second or first season with NYK.

Can you explain to me gently why the Nets are such a big story this season? It seems to be an elephant in the room that everyone can see but me.

Really? I'm surprised, you're surprised. They have two players who at times in recent history have been the best player in basketball and another that could be the team leader on a few other teams.

On the Ringer top 25 list for this year, Irving was 16, Harden was 8, Durant was 5. They're currently 2 seed and their big 3 have played 7 games (total 186 mins) together! I believe they have the highest offensive rating this season (just checked and joint first now as they've slipped post all star game). Harden and Durant have been scorers when everyone keys in on them but it's pretty hard to do that when you have both of them and Irving.

Interestingly, Harden is looking like the lynchpin (especially now he's out) as he does what's necessary to get the others going and goes into score mode when they're out or benched.

They are also in New York, even if they are not the Nicks. Where a big story becomes a BIG STORY.

Hmmm, I think this is more akin to Clippers Vs Lakers TBH. The Nets are now too big to ignore.
