Started running regular at the begining of the yearand other than little aches all gone good, until..........

after a 10k on Monday. achilles on my left legs, just hurts. Limping a bit and seems to be getting better each day, but, not best of feelings not being able to get out there! No real point to this post other then only if you run yourself you understand.

Just have to read about runnning until I feel better again.

Yep, injuries are a bummer. A broke my ankle in January and thought I was going to go mad when I couldn't run. You'll be back before you know it :)

YES I get injured looking at my trainers, currently right knee (patellar tendon) and left quad, add to that that I launched myself through the kitchen door last night I think I've slightly strained my groin. i'm fed up.

6m run out then 6m bike ride back planned tomorrow - I hope !

I hate them but then I always think it's my body's way of telling me I'm either doing something wrong or overdoing it.

Stay strong :-)

It's okay to spend time on the bench and being around runners helps. We understand because we've all been there. It's important not to rush back too soon and to take the resumption really slowly. You can't go back up to the same intensity you had before your injury immediately.
