Does anyone else use Fetch WITHOUT a Garmin?
If so, what do you use to record your activities?

I use a Garmin, but I don't connect it to Fetch and upload columns of numbers, I just fill in the boxes that I want to fill in by hand and write a bit of free text about the activity.

I tend to do a bit of both...sometimes I'll load up from my Garmin, sometimes I'll wear a standard watch (or no watch at all) and manually add the info.

I had a year or two where I couldn't upload from my Garmin to my PC. I started using strava on my phone instead and adding manually to Fetch. Now I upload automatically to Garmin Connect and it then goes to Fetch and Strava.

I have a Suunto Ambit. It requires a bit of clickery to import, but import it does. Rather like how it used to be when I first started using Fetch with a Garmin before things happened automagically.

Heh heh, you are not alone! I use an app (Runkeeper) on my phone, and upload that by hand generally, but I've got a regular lunchtime route at work which I've stored, & I'll just use an old-fashioned stopwatch then.

I used to. I used the mapping tool to work out distance and an ordinary watch for the time.

Quite a lot of our club runners don't use a garmin (or other clever device). I didn't think it was possible to run without one!

Before I got mine, I plotted my route and distance via the Good Run Guide web site. before that, I can even recall the days of running with a pedometer on my hip.
